Zayn Malik hasn't been a part of One Direction for nearly nine months and although the wounds still feel fresh for some fans — us included — all of the guys in the group have made it clear that there isn't any bad blood between them. Zayn was spotted out in New York City last night and by the looks of his outfit, it appears he is taking some style inspiration from one of his former bandmates: the one and only Harry Styles.
Zayn was spotted wearing a gray beanie, a plaid jacket with a nifty pocket paired with a simple white t-shirt under it, some dark jeans and pointed brown leather boots.
This outfit looks like it was taken right out from Hazza's closet. These are all signature pieces of his wardrobe he has worn over the years and styled in different ways. The gray beanie, pocket plaid shirt with the white t-shirt underneath, dark wash jeans and the pointed brown leather boots are all part of Harry's general aesthetic, which we've seen him wear many times.
It's like Zayn took parts of each of his favorite Harry style moments and combined them into one outfit, adding his own flare to it. 1D's highly-anticipated new album, Made In The A.M. comes out tomorrow, so perhaps this is Zayn's subtle way of showing his support. We know these two have proven their friendship is solid in a stylish manner before, so we're just going to enjoy this moment.
