Victoria Justice grew up right in front of our eyes, starring in some of our fave Nickelodeon shows of all time – like Zoey 101 and Victorious. But now, the actress and her career are both maturing, and in a new interview with Venice, she reflected back on how far she's come.
"I’ve grown up a lot since I started on Nickelodeon," she said. "I’ve been making a conscious effort to seek out roles that are a little bit more mature and grown-up."
But that doesn't mean Victoria isn't grateful for her Nick beginnings, or that she isn't proud of the work she did there.
"I’ll always be grateful to Nickelodeon because that’s where I got my big break," she shared. "It was an amazing opportunity to be able to do two things that I love: singing and acting. I learned so much from Nickelodeon—including having a good work ethic. From 17 to 20 years old, I think I worked harder than most people have in 10 years of their life."
It's so wonderful that she learned her strong work ethic early on, and is using that to advance her career now that she's older.
