The season finale of K.C. Undercover is going to be a big one: it's so huge, it's going to take two weeks to air! Part one of the finale airs this Sunday, January 17 and in the episode, K.C.'s evil ex-boyfriend Brett is back and K.C. decides to help from hide from The Other Side. Her best friend Marisa tries to tell K.C. this isn't such a great idea, but of course gets caught up in the star-crossed couple's drama, despite the fact Marisa doesn't trust Brett and has a feeling he's going to betray K.C. and her family again.
TWIST caught up with Veronica Dunne, the actres who plays Marisa, and she gave us the scoop on this intense episode, explaining how what the characters are going through on the show is totally relatable. She even dished out some advice about how to deal with a situation when you just have a bad feeling about your best friend's boyfriend or girlfriend.
"Sometimes love is blind and it's hard to see someone's true nature when you have feelings for them. So if one of your friends is going through a similar situation, I would urge girls to be honest with their friends, but also have compassion and understand how hard it is when you really like someone," Veronica says to TWIST.
She does make some valid points! Marisa and K.C. definitely have an interesting friendship that has been through a lot this season, especially since they sometimes live such crazy different lives.
"Probably the overall challenge [in their friendship is] that K.C. is a spy and Marisa is just an everyday girl," Veronica tells us. "Sometimes, it's hard when K.C. doesn't have time for her and has to bail at the last minute. Marisa has to understand that K.C. is saving the world and K.C. also learns that on certain occasions, friendship comes first." Friendship is all about balance after all, even if you come from a family of spies!
The season finale is going to have something for everyone and Veronica teased something major is going to happen fans cannot miss.
"My favorite moment [in the final episodes] is definitely something I don't want to give away, but I will say Ernie is beyond heroic and it's under extremely intense circumstances. No one can miss this epic scene in KCU history," Veronica says.
Ahh, more action and adventure coming soon? This is going to be epic.
