TWIST: Can you tell us a little bit about your character on the show and how do you relate to him?
Noah Crawford: I play Nelson on How To Rock. He's a character - I like to describe him kind of as an evil genius - but without the evil. He's really vulnerable and innocent, but he's always got these crazy, wacky ideas that he's trying to go through with. Whether it's finding a new way to make money at school, or get snacks without leaving the couch. He's also an inventor, so he likes to create things and he gets really excited when his inventions go right. They don't go right 100% of the time, but it just fuels his creative ideas. And he plays keyboard in the band Gravity 5. T: What would you say is the funniest prank you've played on set?
NC: We were doing an episode where we all had to wear wigs. And I had went and I had bought food earlier and I had change in my pocket - I always have change in my pockets -and Max was sitting next to me. And I take a penny out of my pocket and I don't know why but I just dropped it into his wig just to see if he'd notice - and he didn't notice because the wigs were huge! So we're shooting and the penny fell out of his wig and he's like "Oh, dropped a penny," and put it in his pocket and then I put some more change in his hair. And he kept dropping it, and he made a comment like, "Why am I dropping so much change?" And so, I think finally he figured it out, but it was fun to see how long I could keep going just putting as much change as I could... I think eventually I fit like $1.25 in your hair. It was great! T: Haha! That's funny! What would you say is your ideal girl like?
NC: A girl who's just real and enjoys spending time together. Someone who laughs at my jokes, I really appreciate a good sense of humor that's really attractive. Just someone who is genuine and real.
T: That's a good answer! And what would you say is your ideal date?
NC: I've always thought it would be awesome to have an entire theme park to just close down to the two of us. I think that would be super fly!
T: What is the craziest thing you've ever done to get a girl to notice you, or to go out with you?
NC: It's something kind of embarrassing that happened when I was trying to be smooth. We were actually on set, and I had this chair attached to me. The storyline we were filming is I get glue on me, and I sit in a chair, and it gets stuck to my butt, right? So, I'm walking around on set with this chair attached to me. And this is me trying to be smooth - and this happens a lot, I'll try to be smooth - it never works, I really should just stop, but I can't stop. So, all the girls are there, and they're like, "So, Noah, is that comfortable?" And I'm like, "Actually, it's really handy." And I go to sit down, and I fall backwards on my back, in front of everyone. And they were cracking up because it was right when I was trying to be smooth, and I was like, "No, it's really handy!" and I fell over. It was really embarrassing. And that's really the only story that I came to mind. It was really awkward. T: Haha, that's funny! Thanks for chatting with TWIST today Noah!
NC: Thank you, TWIST!
