Although web stars Ethan Dolan and Grayson Dolan are typically focused on putting out hilarious content on the internet to make their followers laugh, the comedy duo took a moment over the weekend to tweet about a serious social justice issue that they just had to speak out about.
While the Dolan twins were out and about on Saturday, they ran into anti-LGBTQ protestors on the side of the street. The blatant acts of intolerance were truly enraging for the social media influencers to see, so the brothers used their voices to stand up against those involved.
"Lol gray and I just roasted the anti-LGBTQ people protesting on the sidewalk," Ethan wrote on Twitter after the encounter.
Grayson chimed in soon after, sending out a message telling their fans that they can't exactly repeat what they said.
We think it's safe to say that Grayson and Ethan got pretty heated in the moment, which is why they chose not to specify the things they said to the protestors.
"I can't tell you what we said but we ROASTED TF OUT OF THEM😂," Grayson said in response to his brother.
As social media influencers, it's great to see the twins speaking up about a social justice issue that they feel passionate about. It is truly devastating to see any type of community being targeted, and it is important that people stand up against the hatred they see in the world.
Grayson rounded up their series of tweets by sharing one last thought about the matter with his followers.
"On the real if you still have a problem with someone being them self you should probably go back to the 1500's. Let people be happy," Grayson tweeted.
We are glad to see Ethan and Grayson spreading kindness and speaking out about the discriminatory behavior they witnessed.
