A new hack of Olympic competitors' medical information has inspired Team USA gymnast Simone Biles to open up about her struggles with ADHD. The information breach revealed that the athlete is taking a medicine for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder that, if she didn't have the proper prescription for it, would be banned from the Olympics.

It was ruled that Simone was allowed to take her medicine (which usually helps those with ADHD focus and calm hyperactiveness) and it was not an illegal performance-enhancing drug -- but the star took to Twitter to explain her case to fans who still accused her of cheating at the 2016 Rio Games.
The star tweeted that she has had ADHD since she was a kid, isn't at all ashamed of it, and has been taking the required medicine for her condition all this time.
Having ADHD, and taking medicine for it is nothing to be ashamed of nothing that I'm afraid to let people know.— Simone Biles (@Simone_Biles) September 13, 2016
It's great that Simone is making a statement about not supporting cheaters while also opening up about her condition, which a lot of her fans may be experiencing too.
