Selena Gomez is definitely a hair goddess. Her brown tresses are always on point and we all want to know exactly what she does to keep her hair so shiny and full of body. In a new interview, the "Good for You" singer opened up about her best kept haircare secrets and of course we took some notes.
"The best hair trick I learned, and I feel like all my girls will agree, is dry shampoo. It's awesome," Sel said. "My favorite hair accessory is a scrunchie. I know it's kind of old school but it's really cute when you put your hair up and you let a few pieces come down. It's nice."
So now we know that she not only turns to dry shampoo when her hair needs a little pick me up, but she loves to try embrace throwback staples, like a scrunchie. Along with these tips, she also revealed her biggest hair blunder that deals with a hair straightener gone wrong, and it's one story that we can all take a some valuable lessons away from. After all, her hair looks like this now so clearly she knows what's she talking about:
"My biggest hair mistake [was from] when I was younger and I was figuring out how to use a flat iron," she said. "I used to think that as long as I could see this hair [in font of my face] was straight, then the back didn't necessarily need to be straight. So for the entire sixth grade, I only straightened the front of my hair. That wasn't really my proudest moment." Selena is now the new face on Pantene, so girl has come a long way from her unfortunate hair days.
