This week, Peyton List showed off one of her cutest casual styles ever while attending the Guess 1981 fragrance launch at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California. The BUNK'D actress rocked the brand's logo-printed crop top along with a matching denim jacket and high-waisted shorts set for the party, accessorizing with a pink cap and trendy over-the-knee boots.
The photos she shared on social media from the beauty event are incredible too, and really showcase her cute style.
But of course, not everyone was loving Peyton's look. While you don't have to be a fan of her outfit (although we really can't imaging you not obsessing over it like we are, but to each their own!) it's a different story when people started sharing rude comments about they way Peyton looks. Some fans were criticizing the Disney Channel actress for showing too much skin – and Peyton called out one message in particular on her Twitter.
"Post one photo in a crop top..." Peyton tweeted along with a screenshot of one of her Instagram comments.
This commenter called Peyton a mean name, while using body-shaming remarks to suggest she's not a proper role model for her young fans. (The "no offense" doesn't make it not offensive!)
Actress Eliana Jones responded to this tweet to remind Peyton that she's one of the best role models around, and how she chooses to dress has nothing to do with that. Peyton thanked her for her kind words and joked about stomachs being "the worst."
It's always more inspiring to see girls standing up for one another instead of tearing them down!
What do you make of this situation? Let's discuss over on Twitter @twistmag.
