It looks like we weren't the only ones inspired by Demi Lovato's recent statements about her personal body image journey. The pop star recently opened up about her self-esteem and body peace struggles on social media, revealing that there are always good days and bad days when it comes to embracing your body. She followed up by posing a photo of her thighs on her Instagram, showing that she doesn't have a thigh gap – nor will she stress over having one.
"I don't have a thigh gap and I'm still beautiful the way I am. #recovery #selflove #EVERYbodyisbeautiful," she captioned a beach pic.
Well now, another Disney Channel star revealed that she identifies with Demi's message, and has her own encouraging words of self-love to share. BUNK'D star Miranda May saw Demi's post and snapped her own beach pic of her thighs to show that she too is proud of her body.
"I saw Demi Lovato post a picture like this yesterday and it honestly made me so happy," Miranda wrote in an accompanying text post. "We're all human. Not everyone is going to have a thigh gap. Does that mean I'm not healthy and active? Nope. It means I'm built different than other girls and that's okay. Love the skin you're in girls because you're beautiful.
Miranda's post is inspiring even more people, keeping the chain of motivation and positivity going! Tons of fans commented thanking Miranda for the reminder that we're all beautiful the way we are, and her friend Spencer List even commented to show his support.
We would LOVE to see this message go viral on social media!
