Little Mix is made up of four super fierce girls and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall are making it known that their music is all about empowering girls to be their fabulous selves.
"Girl power is what we're about. It's what we stand for as a group. We want to do everything we can to make women feel better about themselves," Leigh-Anne said in a new interview.
Bandmate Jesy spoke about how they have heard directly from Mixers' moms, thanking them for helping their daughters out through their music.
"We've had mums come up to us and literally thank us for making the music that we do, saying that since listening to Little Mix their daughters have been happier and more confident in themselves," Jesy said. "If a girl is being bullied, or heartbroken, or just feeling [bad], if our music can make them feel better, then we're doing our jobs right."
That must be such a great feeling for the ladies of Little Mix! They are setting a positive example for young girls everywhere and not only is their music uplifting, but it's super catchy too. They're giving us the best of both worlds!
