Liam Lis recently released a new song called "If I Fall," and now he's sharing even more about the inspiring and motivational messages behind the track. TWIST caught up with the artist who told us all about writing the track, and how he hopes to impact others with the song.
"I wrote 'If You Fall' when I was 11 or 12," now 14-year-old Liam tells us. "It's about any type of relationship. Letting that person know you will always be there for them even if times get tough that person will still be there."
"I sat at my keyboard and wrote the chorus first," he explains. "I was inspired to write this song by things I have seen in every day life living in New York City or movies I've watched. The song can have many different meanings but I see it about friendship. For example, a parent and a child, a sick person being helped by somebody who loves them, an elderly person leaning on a friend for strength, a friend who is having a tough time and knowing they have a friend."
Liam wants this song to inspire you – and everyone who hears it!
"My hope is people will be inspired to help people in need," the singer adds. "For people to know that their strength can help somebody. I also want my fans to interpret 'If You Fall' in their own way however that may be as long as they feel inspired by the song."
That's so beautiful!
