There are so many amazing celebs acting on TV and in movies that sometimes we can't help but see them and start to wish that we could be just like them. But if you're more than just a fan, and you're inspired by their work and find yourself wanting to pursue your own acting talents, Landry Bender has some advice for you: "go for it."
"It’s of course a lot more complex than that, but find any way you can to simply go for it" the Best Friends Whenever actress explained in a new interview. "Whether it be through local theatre, or commercials, or making sketches with your friends, it’s so important to explore the whole business as much as you possibly can."
Having a great support system of family or friends you can rely on around you is equally important, and Landry knows she's lucky on that account.
"I will go on record and say I have the best support system in the world," she shared. "I love my family and friends so much and I couldn’t imagine better people to have around."
Even though Landry's busy working with her Disney Channel show, she also knows how important it is to get a good education – both in school and in on-the-job training.
"You do meet a lot of young people in this industry that don’t put as much emphasis on education. I’m not putting those down but it is something that has always been important to me and just because acting is something I do full time, I feel that that doesn’t mean I should put less into school," she explained. "It’s a juggling act at times, but I do my best to make it work."
We love that!
