Recently, Justin Bieber announced that he was going to stop taking selfies with his fans in public spaces because the mobs surrounding him were getting to be too much for him to handle. Now, Selena Gomez is making a similar decision to limit fan photos – but she's giving us some warning first, and explaining her logic.
The singer posted some group fan photos from her Revival Tour on Instagram where everyone was behind barricades, and she said she just wants to ensure everyone's safety so photos don't turn dangerous.
"Meeting you guys after my shows has been such a highlight.. but because your safety is priority and most important if we can't keep them contained I'll have to stop," Sel shared along with one pic. "I'll do it for as long as I can, but you matter most. Love you guys."
When you meet your idol, it can be hard to contain your excitement – but nobody wants to get stampeded in a mob! It's great to see Sel putting safety first.
