Are you all kinds of obsessed with Nickelodeon's live-action series Hunter Street? Well, you're in luck, because the network just announced that the show is officially getting a second season! Season 1 recently ended in the United States, and has begun airing internationally.
According to a Nick press release, Season 2 of the adventure-comedy series will consist of 20 brand-new episodes, which promises to "feature new quests, more mysteries and a new Hunter sibling."
How exciting is that?!
The show, which was was co-developed with the Nickelodeon Netherlands series, De Ludwigs, follows a foster family with five kids through their mysterious and fun journeys in Amsterdam," according to a show description. "After spending his first night in his new home, Max [Stony Blyden], along with new siblings Tess [Maemae Renfrow], Anika [Kyra Isako Smith], Sal [Daan Creyghton], and Daniel [Thomas Jansen] wake up to find their foster parents, Erik [Ronald Top] and Kate [Tooske Ragas] have vanished. In order to crack the case, the siblings set out on a quest for clues, leading them on an epic and suspenseful family adventure, including boat racing through canals, exploring secret tunnels and uncovering lost treasures. With obstacles at every turn, they must also fight off old family rivals and duplicitous heirs in order to solve the mystery."
We can only imagine that the continuation of the show will be just as entertaining as the premiere episodes that had us instantly hooked.
Production on the show's second season is set to begin later this summer in Amsterdam, and we will be sure to keep you updated on when those new episodes hit television.
