Singer Hailey Knox just released a music video for her single "Awkward," and we're seriously obsessed with it! Hailey's soulful voice is on full display in the song, which truly shows off her amazing vocals perfectly.
According to Hailey, the song was inspired by the topic of parents "stalking" and being a constant presence on their children's social media accounts.
"The 'Awkward' video is here!! This song is for anyone who's ever been stalked by a parent online 😈 love ya mom! Haha," the singer tweeted.
The video also co-stars social media star Nicholas Megalis, which seems very appropriate for this extremely relatable topic. We're sure everyone has at least one social media story where their parents got a little bit too involved. But it's all out of love for us, of course.
Hailey, who released her first ever EP, "A Little Awkward," this past June, is also preparing to go on her first tour with Charlie Puth in September, which is some seriously super exciting news!
