As you grow up, your body changes, and there's many different ways that it can happen. In Gigi Hadid's case, she has become slimmer and her muscles have gotten leaner in the past few years that her modeling career has really skyrocketed. Well, apparently some commenters called her out on Instagram for purposely changing her body to be thinner and caving to pressures to "fit in" more with the ultra-thin modeling industry, something that she has previously been very outspoken against.
Now, she has written back saying that it's just not the case.
"Bodies change as girls become women, just as my mom's body changed at the same age," Gigi wrote in her comment. "Having my body judged over the 4 teen-to-woman years has really shown me the human tendency to label and make uneducated judgement.
"Yes, I've lost some 'baby fat,' but muscle mass from my intensive volleyball training in high school has changed over the years into lean muscle from boxing and work stress can have its affect [sic], naturally, but purposefully changing my body has never been my thing," Gigi added.

Gigi also asserted once more – as she has throughout her career – that she eats well and is healthy.
"I still eat what I want, I'm still strong, and I'm still healthy," she wrote. "Your comments won't get me down."
Previously, Gigi spoken out to defend her figure from body-shamers in a completely different way.
No one should have to defend themselves from body-shaming critiques, but we're glad that Gigi is using her voice to explain exactly why.
