February is National Heart Month, and each year we look forward to seeing some of our favorite stars model gorgeous bright red gowns during New York Fashion Week's Go Red for Women's red dress event.
This year, Zendaya, Jennette McCurdy, Bethany Mota and the girls of Fifth Harmony all modeled during the heart health awareness event, and they looked phenomenal. TWIST even caught up with the girls of 5H before they walked in the show, and they told us all about why it was such a special experience.
"We love that we get the chance to empower women to take control of their health," Lauren Jauergui exclusively told TWIST about the group's inspiration to be a part of the show. "Each of us has a family member close to us who has been affected," Ally Brooke Hernandez added.
"We love that the event is mixing fashion and awareness of an important issue," Dinah Jane Hansen explained, while Lauren shared: "We’re blessed with this platform, so anytime we get the chance to bring awareness to an issue we love to use the platform we’ve been given." So inspiring!
