Do you remember the cartoon shirt that Taylor Swift wore to the 2013 Billboard Music Awards? Even if you're as obsessed with the singer's fabulous wardrobe as we are, you may have forgotten about her style statement of years past. But now we have a very real reason to start freaking out about her outfit again – because it just may have predicted her "1989" album songwriting future!
Why? Taylor's colorful t-shirt from the awards show is decorated with the words "haters gonna hate," which is the catchy line she used in her new hit song "Shake It Off"!
Taking it another bizarre step further, remember when Taylor took her "Blank Space" lyrics to the next level by dressing up as a Pegacorn for Halloween? Now it looks like her shirt coming to life!
Did she predict her mega hit songs of the future by wearing a cute printed t-shirt?! Did she always dream of dressing up as a mythological creature for trick-or-treating?
We also wonder if Taylor intentionally (but subtly!) used her shirt to spill tiny songwriting secrets before releasing her tracks – after all, she must have written her songs before their late 2014 release. We have so many questions!
Do you think Taylor predicted her future with this outfit? Are you freaking out over her outfit coincidence as much as we are? Let us know in the comments section below!
