Jake obviously meant well and while the sentiment is appreciated, Joey stepped in to shed some light onto Jake's claim essentially saying she likes contouring for the fact that it makes her cheekbones look even more fabulous.
@JoeyKingActress I was with you 48 hours ago, I'm almost positive you had cheekbones?— Jake Miller (@jakemiller) January 6, 2016
Jake, suddenly confused, brought up the fact that he was hanging out with Joey a few days prior and her "natural" cheekbones were highly noticeable to him IRL. She threw him another curve-ball, saying maybe those were her real cheekbones, or maybe the definition was thanks to some contouring. The world may never know.
Since Joey and Jake are friends, she was obviously giving him something to think about in a more jokingly way, since really it's up to the individual whether she wants to wear a certain type of makeup or not. This seemed to resonant with Jake, and he later tweeted out an apology.
Apologize to anyone offended by that contour tweet. It was meant to be nice. Keep doin whatever makes you happy 👍🏽— Jake Miller (@jakemiller) January 6, 2016
So there we have it. Joey changed Jake's mind when it came to his thoughts on girls and how they do their makeup, and that is a victory. Your friends are there to help you out, right?
