It's no secret that we're obsessed with Zendaya's brand new Barbie doll, which commemorates her ultra-glam Oscars style. The star was presented with her stunning new doll at a special ceremony over the weekend, and she couldn't be prouder of her big moment.
But at around the same time, Demi Lovato tweeted using the event's empowering-themed hashtag to call upon Barbie to create dolls with more realistic body types.
While we totally love the idea of different kinds of beauty being represented, fans quickly noted that Demi's timing was taking away from Z's achievement – and the girls have had Twitter beef about hot topics before. After all, she was being recognized for speaking up for herself when she was bullied at her dreadlocks.
Demi has since deleted her tweet, so she obviously didn't mean to diss Zendaya or take away from her exciting moment. Neither girl has publicly shared their responses just yet, but we'll keep you updated if they do!
So now it's your turn to sound off. What do you think of Demi's tweet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
