Cody Simpson and O.A.R.'s Marc Roberge teamed up with Madison Tevlin and Breanna Bogucki to record an incredible song called "Reach Up," plus an accompanying music video for this summer's Special Olympics games, and we couldn't be more obsessed with it. When we spoke with the fabulous team, we asked them to share the inspirational message they hope listeners get out of their new track.
"What I want people to get from our song is that people with disabilities or without, just reach up, you're a champion," Breanna shares excluively with TWIST. "Go for your dreams, you can do anything with hard work if you set your mind to it." "It's about hope and equality," Cody adds. "I believe that everyone deserves an equal chance to fulfill any of their ... dreams and goals, and this is hopefully shedding a little more light on [the Special Olympics], which does give people a chance to be great at something and be a champion."
What an awesome message!
