Cara Delevingne took to Instagram today to shut down nasty rumors that were spread about her earlier this week. A recent report came out that the model didn't get invited to walk in a Victoria's Secret fashion show because she was "too bloated," and Cara announced that this is totally false. In fact, Victoria's Secret's Chief Marketing Officer Edward Razek personally sent a letter to Cara after hearing the false claims.
"The alleged casting, where supposedly disparaging remarks were made, never happened. There was NO casting. You had already been enthusiastically confirmed," he wrote. "The sole reason you ultimately couldn't join us was the movie you were shooting in North Carolina."
In the letter, he not only squashes the rumors – but he also invited her to walk in this year's show without any casting required.
"If you're free on November 30, please join us in Paris. As always, we'd love to have you," the letter read.
It was very respectful of Victoria's Secret to respond to these rumors by reaching out to Cara themselves. Cara added her thoughts on Instagram after receiving the letter.
"It's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers," Cara wrote.
You said it, sister. Cara is beautiful inside and out, and we're excited to see if she'll take Victoria's Secret up on that offer to walk in their Paris show.
