Cara Delevingne recently made her big return to the world of high-fashion modeling, doing a campaign for Saint Laurent. Her new gig came as a surprise to some people though, considering that not too long ago, Cara expressed that she was leaving the modeling industry because it wasn't making her happy and instead focusing on her acting career.
But now, Cara took to Twitter to explain she never said she was leaving the fashion world.
"Can we just set the record straight...I never said I was quitting modeling. I do not blame the fashion industry for anything," she wrote. "I suffer from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self hatred. I am so lucky for the work I get to do but I used to work to try and escape and just ended up completely exhausting myself."
We're really proud of her for opening up about her struggles with depression, and we're glad to see her modeling again in a better time in her life.
