If you're a superfan of Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier, you may think you know absolutely everything about them. When we caught up with the guys when they were at Planet Hollywood in New York City promoting their new movie, The Outfield, we challenged them to share how they hope to surprise even their most die-hard fans with this project.
"I know for Nash, [the fans] have never seen him act in a full-length feature, and I think it will be really cool for them to see that he really can act, he's really good," Cameron shares exclusively with TWIST.
Nash is also excited for fans to see his acting chops.
"We've given them so much stuff over the past like two years that I just think the fact that this is a film, a long one, like 90-something minutes, and I just want to see that reaction," Nash adds. "That's what's different and new."
The guys are both really eager for fans to see the entire project come together, especially since tons of devoted fans have been supportive since the earliest days of filming.
"[The excitement surrounding the movie] is unreal. We'd see it everyday online. We wrapped in February and then we were done. It's scary to finish a whole movie and not have any idea what it looks like," Nash shares. "You can read [the script] from front to back as many times as you want, and you can be in the scene, but you are never going to understand what it looks like and know what's it's like altogether. We really had to trust the directors and they did it beautifully, but for seven months there, it was just this hype like, 'what does the movie look like?' We didn't even see any clips!"
"We couldn't even tell them!" Cam adds. "Everyone was so excited because they had seen us film a movie for like three months and then that hype has just been building and building and building."
