In her show, Bella and the Bulldogs, Brec Bassinger plays a character who's bold enough not to worry about what other people think she should be. Though some people may not be used to the idea of a girl who's a football quarterback, Bella tackles her sport so well that everyone has to take notice! In real life, Brec has a similar attitude.
In a new video interview, she explained that being an actress has made her realize she can't let others' thoughts affect her own self-confidence.
"Just being in the acting industry, a lot of people will tell you no, you're too short, you're too chunky for certain roles," Brec said. "You just have to be like, no, you have to set that aside and follow your dreams no matter what people say. You can't let people put you down." We totally agree!
