Bella Thorne is always so open on social media, interacting with her fans and sharing honest details about her everyday life. The same extends to her acting roles. When TWIST caught up with the actress to chat about her new movie Ratchet & Clank, which comes out today, she let us know why she always chooses roles that she feels authentically represent her.
"The reason why I seem that way is with social media, I feel like you need to completely be you 100% – even if that means having to turn down big deals or huge things that could make me so famous," Bella tells us. "But I don't care what it is. If it's not me then I shouldn't be doing it."
"I have to say there were a lot of times where I just said, 'I'm sorry I won't do this because that's not who I am.' I'm not that person and fans will notice that. I don't want to represent that," she shares. "I think that's why I have such a strong fan base who has stuck with me is that they see that, that's who I am and I hope the way I am inspires them to completely be themselves as well. That's one of my ultimate goals. You can do literally whatever you want, and that's how it's supposed to be."
That's such a great message!
