Aaron Carpenter has commemorated an emotional time in his family's life by sharing a touching tribute to one of his late family members. The singer and web star's stepbrother Nic Anderson passed away back in May 2015 at the age of 17, and over the weekend he would have turned 19-years-old.
While wishing his friend Taylor Caniff a happy birthday on Twitter, he took another moment to remember his stepbrother, who happened to share a birthday with him.
Happy birthday to my day 1 homie @taylorcaniff 🙏🏼 love you man !— Aaron Carpenter (@AaronCarpenter) February 4, 2017
Also happy birthday to my step brother Nic ❤️ would've been 19 today.. miss you more and more every day🙏🏼— Aaron Carpenter (@AaronCarpenter) February 4, 2017
It's so special that Aaron commemorated Nic's milestone for him – and he was met with tons of support from his fans and followers.
If you're a fan of the Netflix show Chasing Cameron on which Aaron stars, you will recall that he has gotten emotional about his family, and has opened up about the sudden losses of both his stepbrother and stepfather in close succession back in 2015.
"My stepbrother... passed away in a car accident," Aaron has revealed on the show. "The same year, the day after Christmas, my stepdad passed away overnight, super unexpected. It's just tough, to lose him and not have him be there."
As all of his friends reminded him on the show, his "family members are in a better place now," – and we have no doubt that they would be proud of all that he's accomplished for himself.
