So, it turns out that Us the Duo secretly have the best healthy snack recipes! When TWIST caught up with singers Carissa and Michael Alvarado, we got them to dish on one of their easiest go-to snacks.
"We are so on smoothie bowls right now," Carissa shared. "Kind of like acai bowls, but Michael makes these smoothies. Tell [them] what's in it."
"Spinach and avocado and strawberries and apple juice," Michael piped it. "All organic!"
Carissa explained the recipe to us, and we couldn't stop our mouths from watering. "Put that in a bowl, put the smoothie in a bowl, and you throw in some granola and blueberries and strawberries and a little bit of shaved coconut and just a little bit of agave nectar on it," she said. "It's just the best thing ever. I want one today. It's really healthy!"
