TWIST: Let's talk about your Radio Disney Take Over. Why should people tune in?
Will.i.Am: I'm here to tell Radio Disney listeners about my TV show on ABC, i.am.First: Science is Rock and Roll. The message behind it is supporting, acknowledging and celebrating these kids' excitement about science, math and engineering. These kids are 8-19 years old and they are building robots, making things with legos we could never imagine, writing code. They are the future inventors of America! You've got to see the show!
TWIST: I'm definitely excited to watch! I hear there's going to be some cool performances too. You're performing and I hear Willow Smith is performing as well. What was she like to work with?
Will.i.Am: She's amazing! She's only 10!
TWIST: What is it that Willow has that makes her such a big star?
Will.i.Am: Confidence and lot for the art. She loves performing, fashion and music.
TWIST: A lot of our readers want to become famous. Do you have any advice for them?
Will.i.Am: Being famous is cool. To be important is cooler. Contribution in the arts is awesome, but contribution in culture is even awesomer. Dream to be a famous singer. Dream to be a famous athlete. But don't stop there. Also dream to be a famous inventor, scientist or doctor. The mind can be famous too.

TWIST: That definitely relates to i.am.FIRST and how important science and math are. What kind of student were you growing up?
Will.i.Am: I was the teacher's pet. I always talked to the teachers. I was that kid.
TWIST: What advice do you have for students that are struggling with math and science and they don't see what it's for?
Will.i.Am: If you're struggling with math or science, it's OK! Math and science are to execute things that aren't right here right now. Dream up of something that isn't here already, like a teleportation machine, flying cars, making Harry Potter's wands real. The way you make these things takes math and science. Imagine something that doesn't exist yet and think of a way to try and make it real. When you do that, you're going to have to know math and science. You have to have an image in your mind. That's what imagination means.
TWIST: That's good. I never thought about it that way before, but I like that. Relating it to your dreams. Very cool. Is there anything else you wanted to say about your Radio Disney Take-Over or i.am.FIRST?
Will.i.Am: Everybody tune in and see these kids and all their passion. These kids could probably solve America's problems fast than the American government. Watch these kids! They're the awesomest!
Listen to Will.i.Am's Radio Disney Takeover tomorrow at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET and watch i.am.FIRST: Science is Rock and Roll August 14 from 7-9 p.m.
