TWIST attended Justin Bieber's Believe album listening party at the Def Jam offices last night, and had an amazing time! We got to listen all the tracks in full, and Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun also stopped by to talk to us about the making of the album. "The album took eight months to make, and Justin would take notes about how to prepare the songs. We're really proud of where it is -- there's no genre, it includes R&B, country, and rap. Justin really made a complete album -- there were songs that we really liked that we kept off because they didn't fit into the whole idea of what we were trying to say," Scooter told TWIST. Scooter flew to NYC from Mexico City to hang out with us, and he revealed that Justin got super emotional at the concert he just performed there. "The thing about Mexico City was that Justin totally got the experience. He came from nothing, and knew that this was some of these people's first concerts. He was that kid," Scooter spills. So sweet! We can't wait for you to hear the album, but our fave songs were: "Catching Feelings," (about being friends before dating -- could this be about Selena?), "Fall" (which Scooter says is based off A Walk to Remember), "Right Here" (featuring Drake), and "Die in Your Arms."
Will you buy Believe when it comes out on 6/19? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to pick up our July issue to find out even more scoop about the album!
