When you get a pimple at an inopportune time, it can completely ruin your day. As silly as it sounds, getting a sightly breakout right before an important event or school picture day can make your self-esteem plummet – and we get it, it's hard to convince yourself not to worry about it. Well, believe it or not, celebs struggle from acne too, and many stars have admitted that their breakouts have had different negative effects on their work.
If you think about it, it is daunting enough to face your classroom full of friends when you're feeling less-than-confident about your skin, but actors have lights and cameras in their faces when filming big projects – and everyone expects them to look 100% flawless. That's a lot of pressure!

Emma Stone shared that she suffered from really bad skin issues while shooting her movie Easy A – and her pimples were actually taken out of the film.
"I had bad hormonal acne when I was 17, and they put me on Accutane for it," she told Refinery29. "After two months on the Accutane, I went off of it, and since then, my skin, my mouth, my lips, my eyes are all so dry. Then, I had stress acne when I was 20, when I did Easy A, which they kindly video-airbrushed out of the movie.
'But I realized how debilitating and embarrassing it can be to have cystic acne."
