The cast of Pretty Little Liars proved themselves to be as tight-knit as ever a few months back when they all got together to get some matching ink. Their finger tattoos were especially meaningful, given the fact that the initial each one of the gals got represents the character they portrayed on the beloved Freeform drama – which is sadly coming to an end after this final season.
"This happened. Thank you @shamrocksocialclub for taking care of us. We couldn't not get tattoos to commemorate the show! And obviously on our 'shh' finger 😏," leading lady Lucy Hale captioned her Instagram photo of the final product.
What a way to commemorate the show they all put their hearts and souls into – so sweet.
While it seemed as though the girls were totally into it (after all, they did flaunt their tattoos on the red carpet afterwards), it appears Shay was actually really hesitant about the whole thing. In a recent interview, the brunette beauty actually admitted to not wanting to be involved at all. However, it wasn't the permanent aspect of the ink that frightened her. It was the pain factor that got her all nervous.
"I didn’t want to be a part of this at all!" Shay confessed in an interview. "I don’t understand what’s wrong with Henna, why can’t we get something like that? Not because of the permanent factor, but because of it’s painful. And on your finger, it’s even more painful! So, I mean, I ended up doing it, I just held onto everybody’s hands and was sweating profusely. But, I made it."
Aww – at least she had her lovely co-stars to support her!
