Shake It Up may be coming to an end soon, but Zendaya's schedule is still busier than ever! The star has teamed up with NFL tweens & juniors apparel to lend her style-savvy ways to the brand's back-to-school 2013 campaign. And last week in N.Y.C., we had the chance to sit in on Zendaya's photo shoot where she struck a ton of poses in super-cute duds from the sportswear brand (while listening to Michael Jackson!), and then chatted with us about her new gig.
"I get to model some of the clothes, which is really cool because the line is cute and fun," Zendaya exclusively tells Twist. "It's a way to take something that is more guy driven and make it kind of girlie."
And we totally understand why NFL called upon the star for some help with their cool, sporty collection — Zendaya is the queen of mixing feminine and masculine pieces. "It reflects my style, because I am a tomboy, too. So I have both a [girlie and tomboy look] — and that’s what this combines," Zendaya explained. "It allows us to break barriers and make sports gear cute."
The new NFL tweens and juniors collection will be available online and at select retailers nationwide beginning this September — the same month Zendaya's ad campaign debuts.
