You can currently catch Sayeed Shahidi in the ABC summer series, Uncle Buck, playing the witty and clever Miles Russell. TWIST recently caught up with the actor to ask him all about the show, his cast mates, and his character.
"Both Miles and I are the middle child in our families and extremely creative," Sayeed tells us exclusively about his similarities to his character.
"I’m really excited for our viewers to just enjoy our family and the crazy situations we get into and out of with Uncle Buck," Sayeed shares. "We always find an unconventional way to solve our problems."
Sayeed got to work with an all-star cast on this project, and he shares that they offered him some great advice on set.
"You know, Mike Epps is fearless and will try anything and just watching him you see how amazing his comedic timing is," the actor tells us about his co-star. "He has been really supportive of my budding comedy skills! Our set vibe is like a true family. So working with my TV family is like waking up and hanging out at home with some of my favorite people."
That's so great! In addition to his already-awesome cast, we asked who his dream guest-star on the series would be – and it turns out that his wish is coming true.
"One of my dream guest-stars appears in an upcoming episode! But you will have to wait and see who it is," he spills. "Another person would be Kyrie Irving, from the championship basketball team, the Cleveland Cavaliers."
That would be so cool!
