Rowan Blanchard has made it very clear that she will never stop speaking her mind and standing up for issues that are important to her. Now, she's boldly encouraging us all to do the same. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Girl Meets World star shares that she hopes all teens will be able to form their own opinions on big issues that matter to them.
"I feel like we live in a world that, often, will kind of try and shut teenagers up, or kind of put them aside, or let them speak but tell them it's not going to matter," Rowan shared. "I feel like my thoughts and my opinions have always been very open, and they’ve always been very allowed, and I definitely want to encourage other teens to do the same and form their own opinions — even if they are the ones I disagree with because at least they're forming them by themselves."
Rowan is in good company with her thoughts – tons of stars, like Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, and Emma Watson have all recently spoken out about big issues affecting their lives, calling on others to get involved with making the changes they want to see happen in the world.
"I love that people are using their voice," Rowan continued. "I feel like it's a sort of a rebellion."
