Liam Payne has a lot of tattoos but the tattoo of an eye on his arm has officially become the creepiest artwork on his body.
There was always speculation that the tattoo was for Cheryl Cole. Not only that but it actually was Cheryl's eye. No one understood what the significance of her eye being on his arm could mean but that news was quickly swept under the rug once the world realized she was pregnant. Now that baby Bear Payne has been welcomed into the world, the tattoo nonsense is back on the table.
Here is the tattoo that had everyone speculating months ago.

Well, the speculation has officially ended. Liam confirmed that the tattoo was of Cheryl's eye! He chatted with fans during a meet and greet in Boston, Massachusetts where he reportedly gave all the details. But, what is the meaning behind it? Apparently, Liam said, "Sometimes it feels like she's always watching."
Ahhh, what? So, he likes the fact that even when he's away from her she always has her eye on him? Like, in a spying type of way? We're cringing.
We're not entirely sure why he'd want to be symbolically babysat by the mother of his child 24/7 but hey, who knows. Liam may not look at it that way. Maybe the tattoo comforts him when he's alone on the road. Maybe, it helps him not give into temptations while he's away. Regardless, it's permanent. Hopefully, these two last forever because Cheryl will always be watching.
Liam has become an open book recently. He also chatted with Total Access about his son's unique moniker and said, "It was like an internal battle. I wanted a more traditional name and she wanted a name that was more unusual. And the reason she chose Bear, in the end, was because Bear is a name that when you leave a room, you won't forget. And I like that."
So, Cheryl will forever have an eye on Liam and is able to sway him in one of the most important decisions ever. She really does have him wrapped around her finger!
