Kelsea Ballerini is starting a self-confidence revolution. The country singer took to Instagram to share with us just how much she values girls knowing their self-worth and value and exactly how she is going to use her star power to keep this buzz going.
Kelsea wants girls everywhere to post about how much they love themselves, to coincide with the message of her hit single, "Love Me Like You Mean It."
"When putting together my album, it was really important to me to make the theme of it empowerment and confidence," she wrote. "Even when picking 'Love Me' as my first single, I so hoped that girls would sing it into their hairbrush but also hear that they deserve to be loved right and stood up for. I sing about these things because as a young girl, I SO need to be reminded that I am enough, beautiful, and valued. So, all of this being said, I want to hear your stories about how you love YOU like you mean it. Use the hashtag #loveYOUlikeyoumeanit and let's start a squad. 💁"
How amazing is that? She wants to build a squad filled with girls from all over who are just full of self-confidence. We will gladly join this community of strong-willed ladies because we all know who really runs the world. (Girls, obviously.)
