Fifth Harmony and Little Mix are two of the biggest girl groups around, and although there has been talk about some sort of tension between the nine girls, that is totally not the case. In a new interview, 5H member Lauren Jauregui was asked about the "competition" with Little Mix, which she totally dismissed as untrue.
"We’re all women trying to do our thing. We’re spreading a positive message of girl empowerment, love, and self-love. And there’s plenty of room for us," Lauren said.
She is completely right, and it's a sentiment the ladies of LM totally agree with. When they sat down for a recent interview and were asked about their thoughts on 5H, they had a similar response to what Lauren said.
"There's plenty of room for girl bands in this industry," Jade Thirlwall said, her bandmates all agreeing. Leigh-Anne Pinnock added, "Look at how many boy bands there are? And we're different from Fifth Harmony as well, and you can like two different bands, it's not one against the other at all."
Leigh-Anne made a valid point: you can be a fan of as many different bands and artists as you like, without having to choose one over the other! And Perrie Edwards summed it all up nicely by praising Lauren, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane Hansen, Normani Hamilton and Ally Broke Hernandez.
"Fifth Harmony are awesome," Perrie said. So there you have it, there is no bad blood between these bands. All is right in the world.
