Hey TWIST Girls!
We just got off the phone with Devon Bostick, star of the upcoming movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Devon is super talented and a total cutie, so we're quite excited to see him on the big screen this weekend. In the flick, Devon plays the punk-rocking older brother to the main character -- he even gets to show off his talent on the drums! Read on to check out our phone convo, and tell us if you're heading to the theaters this weekend to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid! And let us know, do you think Devon is hot?
TWIST: Hey Devon! Tell us about your new movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid and your character Rodrick?
DEVON: The movie is based off the books by Jeff Kinney. I play Rodrick, the older brother whose main goal in life is to make fun of his younger brother, Greg. He constantly plays trick on his brother! He feeds Greg lies just to torment him. Rodrick is a punk rocker -- he has a rock band called Loaded Diaper, and it's his life. He's basically a very manipulative guy and always seems to get out of his chores.
TWIST: Did your own younger brother provided any inspiration in playing Rodrick?
DEVON: I do have a younger brother, he's 14, but I've never gone to the full extent that Rodrick has at getting at his younger brother!
TWIST: Can you tell us about your first date?
DEVON: I was very nervous! It was in grade 5 and she was in grade 4, a girl from my town near Toronto. It was during lunchtime, and not that many kids were doing that at the time, so people were acting all crazy about it. I didn't know whether to kiss her or not! I was only in grade 5...it was very awkward and I was very nervous.
TWIST: So what advice do you have for girls going on their very first date?
DEVON: Just be relaxed, be yourself and don't try too hard.
TWIST: Thanks for your time, Devon!
DEVON: Thank you!
