Last night, the series finale of I Didn't Do It aired – and it's going to take some time for us to get used to the fact that there won't be any more new episodes. The upside is that the show ended in the sweetest way with [SPOILER ALERT] Logan and Jasmine finally getting together. When we spoke with Austin North, who played Logan, he revealed that one of his favorite episodes from the series was when Logan taught Jasmine how to to play the drums, something he really wanted to see happen on the show for quite some time.
"The writers saw on my YouTube that I was a drummer, but we didn't really implement it first season just kind of talked about it. But the second season we were just like, 'yeah we're going to do this drumming thing,'" Austin said to TWIST. "They implemented it with the episode where Logan teaches Jasmine [to play the drums] and I thought that was a really cool idea. But I did kind of push for it. I would say, 'guys this would be really cool to have Logan playing the drums' and it was funny because the drum set was just there on set. So I could play it whenever, on my lunch break, but people kind of got annoyed me. Not going to lie, because it's really loud," he said.
How great is it that Austin got to bring a part of himself to his role? And that fact Austin really liked how the writers decided to incorporate this love for drumming into Logan and Jasmine's relationship just makes that episode even more meaningful now. We are also taking a moment to appreciate how Austin used to drum whenever he felt like it on set, no doubt creating some memories for the cast and crew too!
