Zac Efron's new movie Charlie St. Cloud comes out in theaters today! Zac will be playing something of a different role than what we're used to. He plays Charlie, a character who has to find a balance between staying true to a new love interest and to his dead brother Sam. I can't wait to see Zac look super cute on screen, but I'm not looking forward to watching him be with another girl...

On Monday night, TWIST editor Emily L. and I were lucky enough to go to an advance screening of Charlie St. Cloud. The theater was packed with people, and everyone was totally amped to see the one and only Zac Efron onscreen. I've got to admit, he looked pretty good--lots of shirtless, athletic scenes, if you know what I mean. The movie was definitely a tearjerker (I cried multiple times!), but I'd totally recommend it, especially if you're a big Zac fan.

Major smooching went down at last night's MTV Movie Awards! First, Zac and Vanessa were featured on the Kiss Cam, and both seemed super-nervous to pucker up in front of everyone. But shortly after, they had competition when Rob and Kristen -- they took to the stage to accept the award for Best Kiss and Rob totally went in for a peck from his leading lady. Check out both liplocks in the vids above and sound off -- who really had the better kiss -- Zanessa or Robsten?
Two of the most talked about couples hit up the Get Him To the Greek premiere in LA on Tuesday and they could not have looked more different! Zac and Vanessa looked trendy as usual, but Katy Perry and Russell Brand went a little wild with their look! Russell is one of the stars of the movie and he and Katy certainly stood out on the red carpet. Are you digging their outfits or do you think they look way too over-the-top?

Think you can sing like Selena, act like Vanessa and dance like Zac? Well this may just be your chance of a lifetime. The Disney Channel is holding an OPEN CASTING CALL this Saturday March 27 @ The Omni Austin Hotel Downtown from 9am-4pm.
Disney is looking for boys and girls, ages 10-18, with acting, singing and dancing abilities for upcoming roles in original movies and series. Each applicant will be given a monologue to perform at the call. There is no fee to attend, but an adult or legal guardian must accompany you.

The girls weren't the only ones looking glam last night at the Oscars -- check out Zac and Taylor! Sigh, I love a man in a tux. The Oscars are really conservative and both the guys wore something we've seen them in before, not that we're complaining. They look great! Which look do you like more: Zac's skinny black tie or Taylor's bow tie?
All your fave celebs are coming together THIS Friday to take part in a telethon that will help the victims in Haiti as they look to rebuild their country after last week's earthquake. The telethon will air on most channels, including MTV, E! and the top networks (ABC, NBC, etc.) at 8 pm EST (5 pm on the West coast!).
If you tune in, you'll see Selena answering a phone, talking to those who want to donate, and you'll also see Taylor Swift take the stage to perform. Who else is getting involved? Zac Efron, Robert Pattinson, Anna Kendrick and more!

TWIST recently had the chance to catch up with, Nikki Blonsky one of the stars of MTV's, Valemont. TWIST: Can you tell us a little bit about Valemont and your character? What exactly is going on?
NB: Well, my character's name is Poppy. Poppy Barker, and she enrolls in Valemont because it's one of the most prestigious universities. She wants to go to one of the best schools. So, she enrolls and she doesn't know that she has enrolled herself at a school for vampires. It's actually cool because it's a college where vampires go to learn how to live amongst the human race and how to suppress their hunger for human blood and all that good stuff.
TWIST: It seems a little more on the dark side compared to the stuff that you normally do like Hairspray and Queen Sized.
NB: Yeah, that's kind of why I wanted to do it. I've read the script and I loved it. And I've read the character description and I just fell in love with, Poppy. You know, I've been fortunate. I've gotten the opportunity to play a lot of fun characters that are out there and bubbly and having a good time and we're singing and dancing, but this script had no singing and dancing. It was about vampires and it was about you know, the dark side. So I kind of wanted to cross over to the dark side and see what it was like for a little while, and it was cool.
TWIST: I don't know if you're able to talk about it, but they just announced their filming Hairspray 2. Do you know anything about that?
NB: I learn as the fans do. Honest to God, I don't get any special treatment. I found out about Hairspray 2 when something was up on my website when a fan wrote in, "Check your IMDB," and I checked it and it said Hairspray 2, Tracy Turnblad. I was just like, oh, guess we're making it. I did speak to the director, Adam Shankman, he's been twittering a lot about it, so yeah. It's happening.
TWIST: Do you think they're going to be able to get the cast back?
NB: I know that I just spoke to Amanda the other day, and I know that me and her, honestly, what you see on camera as Tracy and Penny, we're like that in real life, like Nikki and Amanda we're just crazy. We definitely would love to play Tracy and Penny again. I know that Zac would totally be down for it as well because we can't have anybody but the Link Larkin. He's the only one that makes Tracy's heart beat. So, yeah I think they would be able to get everybody back, everybody that would really be important to the story line that they're writing for the second one.
TWIST: Can you tell us about your most embarrassing moment?
NB: I guess, it's kind of embarrassing but Zac and I were doing a kissing scene in Hairspray and we didn't hear the director yell cut. So, we went on for like four minutes and it was kind of embarrassing to turn around and see all the backup dancers with their arms folded. They kind of looked at us and just said, "Are you done yet?" And I was just like, "I didn't hear anybody say cut, like guys you know, use the megaphone, be a little louder!" That was kind of embarrassing.
Wowza! Did you watch the Teen Choice Awards tonight? Twilight won for all ELEVEN categories it was nominated, including Choice Movie Drama, Choice Movie Liplock and Choice Male Hottie - Rob Pattinson, of course! R-Pattz, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and Cam Gigandet all received acting nods, too!
So who else won big last night? Multitalented Miley Cyrus scored props for her acting, singing and hissy fit skills. Who could forget her shoe fight with supermodel Tyra Banks in Hannah Montana: The Movie? Zac Efron won best actor for both Musical/Dance (HSM3) and Comedy (17 Again) - now that's impressive! Plus, fashionista Selena Gomez picked up her very first surfboards for Choice Red Carpet Female, Choice Celebrity Dancer and Choice Summer TV Actress while bff Demi Lovato won Choice Breakout Star: Female and Choice Music: Tour (with David Archuleta!)
