We recently chatted with Radio Disney's N.B.T. (Next Big Thing) season four winner Shealeigh and runner up Zack Montana! After Shealeigh won, she opened up for Cody Simpson , who mentored the contestants during the competition! How cool?! We talked about their music, N.B.T. and more! TWIST: Can you describe your sound and the music you play?
Shealeigh: My sound is pop-ish. I really like slow stuff, but I love fast stuff too, so it's a whole mixture of pop [with a] mainstream kind of feel.
Zack: The music that I play is kind of a mix of Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Prince kind of mix.

TWIST: Zack, did you listen to those artists growing up?
Zack: Oh yeah! Michael Jackson, mainly. Elvis, also. I was always on YouTube, watching and studying their dance moves and their vocal warm-ups. I would always sing their songs and copy what they would do because they were so great at what they did.

TWIST: Shealeigh, what artists have you always looked up to?
Shealeigh: Definitely Taylor Swift! She's been my superhero since I've been in fourth grade. She actually inspired me to start writing music. It just seems so effortless for her. I just adore herl. But I really love Beyonce, Adele, and Demi Lovato.

TWIST: How did you get your start in music? What inspired you?
Shealeigh: When I was 2 years old, I started singing. My mom's side of the family really loved music and loved singing. They would come over sometimes, and we would have this huge music party. I just started local competitions from there. I've just loved it ever since.
Zack: I've always felt something when I performed. I was like, "Mom and Dad, I want to be a performer like Michael and Elvis and all those greats." They agreed with it, and I was really excited.

Rumors have been spreading like wildfire that "Give Your Heart a Break" singer Demi Lovato and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama have broken up, again! Sources sat that the couple's 12-year age difference (Demi is 19 and Wilmer is 31) is what drove them apart.

Yesterday, Demi retweeted the famous Marilyn Monroe quote that said, "A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left," then added, "The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man." She sounds upset! Could the rumored split have anything to do with the fact that Wilmer and Demi's ex Joe Jonas have been hanging out together in Las Vegas and Hollywood lately? It's no secret that our celebs care about helping others, which is why it's not a surprise that there are quite a few familiar names on Dosomething.org's Top 20 Celebs Gone Good roundup this year. Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber took the top 2 spots in the annual roundup, which highlights the most charity-friendly celebs in Hollywood!
Lady Gaga is known for promoting anti-bullying campaigns and has even created her own organization, Born This Way, to combat bullying in schools and Justin works with an organization that builds schools in underdeveloped countries, donates to his hometown food kitchen and even donated some of the proceeds from his Christmas Album, Mistletoe, to his favorite charities!
Other notable celebs on the list included Demi Lovato, Lea Michele, Daniel Radcliffe, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift!

The new year is almost here, and it was just announced that Demi Lovato and one of our fave werewolves, Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey, will co-host MTV's annual New Year's Eve special! Demi and Tyler will share hosting duties for NYE in NYC 2012, which will include performances by Demi's BFF Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo and Mac Miller! Tyler dished, "I love the MTV New Year's Eve special, and am excited to be co-hosting it with Demi Lovato. I love the performances, and there are some great acts lined up this year!" We can't wait!

Hey TWIST readers,

Every year, Z100 in NYC hosts its annual Jingle Ball concert with all of the hottest performers, and this year was no exception! This year Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Gym Class Heroes, Foster the People, LMFAO, David Guetta and Hot Chelle Rae took the Jingle Ball stage, and TWIST was there on the red carpet! During the show, Demi got to perform a duet with her long-time idol, Kelly! Plus, the performers weren't the only stars at this year's Jingle Ball! Khloe Kardashian Odom, Big Time Rush, Karmin, The Script, Mindless Behavior, Abigail Breslin and her CABB bandmate Cassidy Reiff and Megan & Liz were also there to kick off the holidays in style!

We asked some of our favorite celebs to share their New Year's resolutions. BTR's Logan Henderson dished, "I was going to say to enjoy the moments that you have," while bandmate Carlos Pena added, "I want to work out a little more. On the road, we eat so much junk food." Roc Royal from Mindless Behavior spilled, "One of our resolutions is to come out with a new album."

Hey TWIST readers,

We recently chatted with Nash Overstreet from the pop rock band, Hot Chelle Rae, whose brand new album Whatever was just released! Nash (whose little brother is Chord Overstreet from Glee) plays lead guitar and also sings background vocals. He chatted with us about Whatever, the band, their upcoming tour with Taylor Swift, and their new song with Demi Lovato! Check out the full interview below!

TWIST: How did Hot Chelle Rae get started?
Nash: Ryan [Follese] and I met right out of high school and we were both writing songs and singing and just trying to figure out what the next step was in our lives. We got together and stated writing and got some songs under our belt. I had known Ian [Keaggy] since we were 10 and... he saw a show of ours and was like, 'you know what? I think I can play bass'. And Jamie [Follese] is Ryan's brother and was really awesome at drums.

TWIST: Who are some of your musical influences?
Nash: We love Maroon 5! Train, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars... anyone who is just genuinely talented, has a great sounding record, and can write awesome songs.

TWIST: What is your writing process like? Where do you get your inspiration from?
Nash: There are so many moments in those [songs] that are things that have happened to us. Basically "Tonight Tonight" is about going out, having fun, forgetting about your work week, or your girlfriend, or your parents or whatever you're dealing with. "I Like it Like That" is about a year of those nights.

TWIST: Awesome! So I hear you're going on tour early next year with Taylor Swift. Are you excited for that?
Nash: We are SO excited we can't even believe it! First of all, Taylor's amazing, just really cool, her music is awesome--we've all been fans! We're really excited to go and play 12 arena shows... it will be insane!

TWIST: That's going to be amazing! What's it like to work with Taylor?
Nash: Oh amazing! She had us come out and do a guest appearance and do "Tonight Tonight" with her at the Staples Center over VMA weekend. Hearing the arena filled with people singing your song word by word is just the most intense feeling ever!

TWIST: As far as your family goes, you're all very musical. Did you and your brother Chord [Overstreet] sing together when you were younger?
Nash: Very rarely. We would go down to the basement and jam but we were always doing different stuff. He was very into sports early on and I would be joining some band in the heat of the moment or be in the studio. So we never really had the garage band family thing going on. But as we got older, we definitely have written together. I think we're gong to try to do some collaboration and try to do a song together at some point.

TWIST: That'd be awesome! Does he ever ask for your advice on singing or girls or any of that big brother type stuff?
Nash: Yeah from time to time he'll be like, 'this is what's up, this is what's going on.' You know, 'what would you do...' It's good to be able to be there and have that kind of relationship.

TWIST: What can we expect from you guys in the future?
Nash: The album Whatever is out, and we're so excited about it! It's really just an extension of us so we're really excited to share it with our fans and have them hear it. Demi Lovato did a duet with us on a song called "Why Don't You love Me".

TWIST: What was it like working with Demi?
Nash: It was amazing, Demi absolutely killed it!

TWIST: We can't wait to hear it!
Nash: We also got nominated for "Favorite New Artist" category for the AMAs... definitely a very cool feeling and we're having all of our fans vote as many times as they can!
