We just chatted with the hot new Korean girl band The Wonder Girls! They told us all about their TV movie special The Wonder Girls, airing tonight at 8 p.m. ET on TeenNick! In the movie, the Girls (Yenny, Yubin, Sun, Lim, and Sohee) come to the U.S. for their American debut and enter a talent contest at the Apollo Theater in New York, where they battle against their rivals The School Gyrls. The Wonder Girls dished to TWIST about the movie, their "rivalry" with The School Gyrls, and what they like most about America! We can't wait to watch the special!

TWIST: Tell us about The Wonder Girls special premiering on NICK. What can readers expect?
The Wonder Girls: The Wonder Girls is a fun TV special that everybody should watch!! It is about us coming to the States. Somehow Yenny enters us into the amateur night competition at the legendary Apollo Theater where we meet our rivals The School Gyrls! The movie deals with friendship, music, and romance!
TWIST: Are you guys and The School Gyrls really rivals?
TWG: We play rivals in the movie, but we're very good friends off screen!
TWIST: What can you tell us about your upcoming album? Do you have an exact release date yet?
TWG: We are looking forward to our first US debut album! We have worked with amazing producers like JR Rotem, Claude Kelly, Cristyle and so many more! We tried to make a good mix of both American and Korean style pop music which is a little different from what you have heard before. Fans will definitely get to hear a new sound and style! Our album will come out this spring! We truly cannot wait for our fans to hear our new songs!
TWIST: What do you girls like most about America?
TWG: There is a great energy and passion for life in America but at the same time, it's very relaxing and chill!
TWIST: Who's your favorite American artist?
TWG: Wow. We are huge fans of a lot of American artists! We love Beyonce, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Usher!
TWIST: Who would you love to collaborate with?
TWG: Katy Perry. We met her once at an MTV Malaysia concert! We were like, "Wow! Katy Perry is actually here!!" She is just so much fun and a great inspiration, especially to girls like us!
TWIST: Where do you see yourselves in 10 years?
TWG: Honestly, we don't know! Obviously we're not going to be "girls." How does Wonder Women sound? :D
