We've got some exciting news for all you music lovers: Twist editors were on the scene this weekend as your favorite stars and singers walked the red carpet for one of the biggest holiday live music events of the year: Z100's Jingle Ball! Jake T. Austin talked about the best birthday present he got for his recent 16th celebration. "I would have to say the iPhone 4 was the happiest upgrade of my life. [I love the app] Angry Birds. It's so addicting, it's kind of scary!" Jake dished. Paramore stopped to tell us about one of their most memorable moments recently: "We just played two shows at an arena in London, and it was just one of those moments when we were like, 'We used to play in a basement.' We were just having fun playing music, not thinking we would ever make it, and [now] here we are, playing in front of 30,000 people. It was one of those moments that was really special." Congrats, guys!
Emily Osment gave us the deets on her favorite song off of her new album Fight or Flight: "The third song, "1-800 Clap Your Hands" is the first song I ever wrote for the record. It's jazzy, and I played bass on it, so that was pretty cool." Finally, some of your fave guys spilled their New Year's resolutions! Pauly D wants more downtime with those that matter to him, saying, "I've been traveling like crazy this past year, which has been great, but I haven't been able to see my family very much. This next year, I want to come home once a week and see my mother." How sweet, Pauly! B.o.B. plans on being healthier, saying "My New Year's resolution is to work out," while the spirit of the season is on FloRida's mind. He told TWIST that his resolution "is to continue to give."
