TWIST: Hey Pat! Congratulations on your new album. Tell us a little about it.
Pat Brown: The album is called "Everything Collides". It is out on May 11th. There are 11 songs on it. We recorded it in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a producer named Jordan Schmidt, he's a really good friend of ours. Right when the album comes out we are going to be on tour supporting the album.

TWIST: Do you have a favorite song on the album?
Pat: Yeah, I do. It's a song called "Letting Go" and it's the slow song on the record. It's very ambient, very slow. It's a very pretty song. So I think that's my favorite one.

TWIST: What is your favorite thing about being on tour?
Pat: Definitely the people you get to meet. I'm a huge people person, I'm really social, and so I really like being out and being able to interact with people. I just love meeting people and forming new relationships with people. And it's cool to travel around too. It's almost like you are in a traveling circus with your friends. It's a really fun experience.

TWIST: Do you have any rituals you do before you perform?
Pat: We are all Minnesota boys so we have mad Minnesota pride. Ever since the first show we played, we go 'Quack, quack, quack, quack. Go Ducks!' from the movie Mighty Ducks.

TWIST: Do you have any funny or weird quirks that make you who you are?
Pat: I'm terrified of ketchup. I hate ketchup. Even if I just smell ketchup, I just gag. It's terrible. Another weird thing is I hate paper. I hate touching paper. I hate writing on paper. I cannot stand holding paper; it sends shivers down my entire body.

TWIST: Embarrassing moment on a date?
Pat: One time there was a girl who I used to date and went to high school with her. We were at this really nice sushi restaurant called Chino Latino. Everyone that goes there dresses up because it is a high-class place. We go there wearing jeans and a t-shirt. We didn't look like we belonged there whatsoever to begin with. On each table there was a big glass vase with 30 to 40 different colored chopsticks sticking out of the vase. My date takes her coat and flips it around her chair and her coat clips the vase and it falls off the table and shatters. Chopsticks were rolling on the floor everywhere. The entire restaurant stopped talking and looked at us. And the people next to us look at my date and one says, "Not cool". It was super awkward the rest of the time.
