2010 is just around the corner! Before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's, we're taking a look back at the year in entertainment. First topic? The best movie of 2009!
Fantasy flicks, like Harry Potter and New Moon, were two of the most anticipated flicks of the year! But there were quite a few other movies that had us talking during the year. First, Miley Cyrus jumped back on the big screen with Hannah Montana: The Movie, while Zac stepped out of his HSM-shoes to rock it in 17 Again. What else dominated the silver screens this year? Animated flicks like Coraline, Up and Monsters vs. Aliens were huge hits!

I say New Moon was better than the other movies I mean like who wants to see a movie with NO Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, or Robert Pattionson I wouldn't i hate Harry Potter movies. Thats a hard one. I was the one waiting in line forever to see Harry Potter and New Moon... and of course as a loyal Tim Burton fan, I loved Coraline! But overall, I have to go with Harry Potter. It was the best one yet, and it was the movie I honestly enjoyed the most.

DEFINATELY New Moon. Taylor Lautner is probably one of the most popular actors right now and ppl are looking forward to see HIM because when we see him act, it just blows our mind. he gives us what we expect. Harry Potter on the other hand is just 3 hrs. or boring, i never see an interesting plot in the movies, and it is just so dark throughout the movies that i can barely see the characters and what they're doing. Hannah Montana the movie just sucked. it's BORING! REALITY CHECK. my 5 yr old cuz is like a HEE-UGE fan of Hannah Montana and even she fell asleep through the movie

my fav movie for 2009 is new moon cause it was a great movie and my second is hannah montana i liked that one because it was the first hannah montana movie and it was so cool and funny in some parts.
All you people out there who think New Moon is better than Harry Potter are sick. New Moon is a sappy vampire love story, how much more stupid can it get? Plus Bella has NO personality. Harry Potter is swell thought out and just plain GENIUS.oh and musiclover101, I would wanna see a movie with no Kristen Stewart,and all those other people.Who would want that?And the potter puppet pals are awesome!

I think that it's a tie between New Moon and Harry Potter. Sure, New Moon was pretty good, but they rushed through the whole movie! And they made Bella find out about Jacob's secret the wrong way! Harry Potter showed every detail like it was from the book. So, the only reason New Moon stand a chance was because of the actors/actresses and the stunts.

Okay, New Moon SUCKED! The whole saga is the stupidest thing I have ever read. Harry Potter was actually a well thought out series and I have NEVER met a person that likes Twilight more than Harry Potter after reading both series! Get some good taste and read a book that actually is good! HARRY POTTER FOREVER!

Okay the only reason you "twi-hards" say harry potter sucked and new moon was awesome is because you know harry potter gives new moon competition and not even that, harry potter is a MILLION TIMES BETTER. of course i'm going for new moon. It was amazing i loved it was what i had pictured in my head after i read the books. I hate hannha montanna she's just plain stupid idk i just don't like her. I love the Harry Potter books but i was dissapointed i expected more.

I saw the Hannah Montana Movie and thought it was cute but it does not deserve to be the best movie of 2009. I'm not much of a wizard girl concerning the Harry Potter books and movie. I'm gonna have to go with New Moon. I saw it Midnight and I thought it was amazing. I know the reviews weren't the best, but personally I thought it was great. NEW MOON IS THE BEST MOVIE OF 2009 :)

As a true Twi-Hard I would probably need to say New Moon, but as stated before above it wasn't that great of a movie, I liked the books, and I love them, but they are not the best written, I love Taylor Lautner but I... I don't know it just wasn't the best, I'd have to say either Avatar or Sherlock Holmes. OOO or Band Slam! I LOVED THE HARRY POTTER MOVIE! JK ROLLING IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I haven't read the books, lol. I think 2009 was a great year and that TWI-heads and HP-fans should really get a long, SO WHAT IF YOU DON'T LIKE NEW MOON! You really don't need to broadcast it, AND SO WHAT IF YOU THINK HP IS DUMB! You REALLY dont need to go around raving about it! We should unite and look forward to a great year, and remember that everyone has opinions and choices! And even if they're not yours, at least give them a chance! I say this to those who will listen, and if you think I';m wrong, then So be it, this was my opinion and I'm standing by it.
