Hey Twist Girls!
With the holidays right around the corner, it's a great time to hang out with your family and get into the holiday spirit! One of our movie picks this year is Little Spirit. It takes us on a magical adventure with a boy named Leo, who learns the true meaning of Christmas. He travels around New York City in search of his dog Ramona, who he accidentally loses in Central Park! Disney star Brenda Song voices a character in the movie, so check out our Q&A with her after the jump!
We also have 5 DVDs to give to a few lucky readers! To enter, comment this blog with YOUR favorite holiday movie!
XOXO,
Jen the Intern.
Twist: Tell us about your movie Little Spirit.
Brenda Song: Little Spirit is an animated holiday movie about a little boy who loses his dog (who is his best friend). During his journey to find the dog, he realizes the true meaning of Christmas with the help of a magical spirit.
Twist: You lend your voice to the movie, so tell me about your character.
Brenda Song: My character's name is Paige. In the film, my older sister and I are in a cab on the way to our Grandma's house because our parents are going through a tough time. Paige is at the age where she is a know-it-all. From the second she gets in the cab with her sister, she is directing the cab driver on the quickest way to get around. He is actually the one who tells us the story about the "Little Spirit," and at first Paige is not concerned with the story. But by the end, she is completely enthralled and ends up enjoying the long cab ride.
Twist: What did you enjoy most about working on this movie?
Brenda Song: It was so fun to be able to go work in my PJs!
Twist: What will readers like most about seeing this movie?
Brenda Song: I think readers will enjoy the fun story and the way it's told. It's a fun holiday movie, and these kinds of movies are always so great to watch with family members during the holidays.
Twist: What was your favorite scene? Why?
Brenda Song: I definitely enjoy the part when everything comes together at the end and the cab driver gives Paige and her sister a gift that reveals he may have had a bigger part in the magical tale he told.
Twist: What is the best holiday memory you have? Why is that such a good memory?
Brenda Song: I remember one year I was missing my grandparents from North Carolina soooo much. I just wanted to see them. I woke up on Christmas morning, ran out and saw all these amazing presents. But the best part was seeing my grandparents sitting in the living room waiting for us!
