Hey Girls!
Last week Madison Pettis stopped by the TWIST office and told us all about her new movie Freestyle, which she stars in with Corbin.
Madison is SO busy lately! Her movie, A Muppets Christmas was released on DVD two days ago and she spent the summer filming Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. But she's still having plenty of fun! Check out this video where she tells us about her favorite Halloween costume and the cute pic she emailed us from her iPhone! Click "read more" to hear what she had to say about her movie and working with Corbin!

TWIST: What was it like working with Corbin?
Madison Pettis: Corbin is so sweet. He is just like an older brother to me, on screen and off screen. He's so funny and goofy. He has three little sisters of his own and I have an older brother who is about his age, so when we were filming the movie, we were both kind of like big brother little sister on screen and off screen.
TWIST: What type of stuff did you guys do together?
MP: We go over to Corbin's house all the time. Their whole family is so sweet, his dad, his mom, his little sisters. They're all such a great family. But on set, we talked about our favorite TV shows, like he LOVES Spongebob. He's like a Spongebob fanatic. So we talk about our favorite episodes, and I say my favorite character is Sandy because she's a Texas girl like me. And so we had so much fun. And it was also freezing in Vancouver in the winter where we filmed it, so that was the perfect opportunity for a snowball fight.
TWIST: Who won?
MP: Oh, Corbin. Definitely.
TWIST: Who are some of your favorite people that you've worked with?
MP: I've worked with Duane Johnson. I've worked with Will Smith. I've worked with Corbin Bleu. I'm a lucky girl. I don't think I can even pick a favorite. They're all so sweet and so different. Duane is such a sweet guy. He's just like a daddy. Will Smith is so goofy. He's just like his character from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. And Corbin's just like a big brother on screen and off. So, they are all really different and all really sweet guys though.
TWIST: Tell me about A Muppet's Christmas.
MP: I lived in the same apartment building as all the Muppets and it's Christmas time. a I just moved there with my mom, but I was really excited for Christmas, and I wanted to spend it with the Muppets. So I write a letter so Santa and ask if I could spend it with my friends and family and I end up spending it with the Muppets.
TWIST: So fun! Let's talk now about Freestyle, your new movie coming out.
MP: Corbin is an amateur motorcross racer who is trying to make it pro, and I play his little sister Bailey, who is his biggest cheerleader. And we are in a single-parent family. Corbin's working two jobs trying to support the family but he's also trying to persue his career in motorcross. So it's all about him.
TWIST: What was the vibe like on set? Did people play pranks on each other?
MP: Mostly the pranks involve snowball fights. And talking in funny
voices. Corbin loves to do silly voices.
TWIST: Is there anything else you've been up to that I didn't ask you about?
MP: Smarter Than a Fifth Grader! September 21st it started airing on the CMT network, so there will be two episodes every day Monday through Friday. And Jeff Foxworthy is still hosting and I'm in 55 of the episodes and now it's syndicated this season so it will be on more channels than just CMT. So it will be on a bunch of local channels too.
Freestyle is in theaters October 9!
