Hey Fashionistas!

Last night I was luckily enough check out Avril Lavigne's clothing line, Abbey Dawn! I even got to talk to Avril about the inspiration behind her designs. Here's what she told me:

"Really my inspiration comes from me and what I love to wear. Before I did this line, I sat down and literally came up with a list of what I loved: patterns, icons, colors. I went to my partner and I started this clothing line. The inspiration for the line comes from my personal style."

All the models on the runway looked like rock stars as they strutted down the runway to Avril's biggest hits! Pink, purple and black were definitely the most popular colors. The biggest trends: suspenders, colored jeans, checkered pants, LOTS of plaid and ripped leggings. There were also cool t-shirts with hearts, lips, stars and skull heads. All the clothes will be available at Kohl's later this year.
