TWIST: I watched the first episode of Glee and thought it was really funny! Can you tell me a little about your character?

Naya Rivera: I play Santana Lopez. She's one of the high school cheerleaders and friends with Quinn Fabray, who is the team captain. She's a bit of a bad girl. She's really snarky and always has these really witty one-liners she throws out there.

TWIST: What's the vibe on set like? Are there any pranksters?

NR: Oh my gosh, yes! One time on set, we had a guest star named Josh Sussman, who plays the chief of the school newspaper. Amber went in her trailer and wrote a note to him from Leah (even though she didn't write it!) that said, "I'm so glad you're back!" She signed it with a kiss! He freaked out and was like, "Leah, I got your note." He was really excited about it. Leah spent the whole day trying to figure out who wrote it. She thought it was me because the kiss mark had big lips, like mine! We all get along really well. Everyone has fun all the time. It's like going to summer camp.

TWIST: Do you hang out when you're not filming?

NR: Oh yeah! These people have become some of my best friends!

TWIST: What kind of stuff do you guys do together?

NR: We're big on sushi. We go to the movies and hang out at each other's house. You know, normal stuff.

TWIST: I'm pretty sure all the TWIST readers are going to love Cory Monteith's character. What is he like in real life?

NR: Cory is one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. He's genuinely just a really nice person. I can't think of one bad thing about Cory. He's just like a big teddy bear!

TWIST: What was your high school like?

NR: High school was a time when I was really trying to figure myself out. I didn't fit in anywhere. It was kind of like a rollercoaster ride.

TWIST: Did you still have close friends?

NR: I had one really good friend. We went to elementary and junior high together.

TWIST: What type of guys did you like?

NR: In high school? Any guy who liked me! That's why I liked! I don't know. I went to prom with a football player, so I'm kind of like Santana in that aspect. I liked my high school football players and those are really hard to get at!
